Doula Certification Requirements

Birth Doula Training

This 2-day training is designed to help you a gain a comprehensive understanding of your role as a birth doula and how to provide evidence-based support to families.

Completed Birth Doula Application

This application will help you acknowledge your purpose and passion behind becoming a doula. There will be some essay questions and doula questionnaire to help ensure you are ready to take the journey as a doula.

Completion of 1 birth with documentation

You will be expected to market yourself and attend one birth before being officially certified as a birth doula. The documentation will be required to ensure the skills associated with being a doula are being utilized and you have a solid understanding of your role.
